Have you been spending countless hours researching how to get your child to sleep? Do you feel like your brain is about to explode? Confused about where to start, or which method is right for you?
Don’t panic. I have been there, and I would love to help you figure it out! Is it possible to do this on your own? Absolutely. Will you begin (ha!) to lose your sanity along the way as you spend your life sifting through online articles and parenting groups? Potentially! The good news is you do not have to do this on your own! In this post, I am going to share with you my top three reasons for hiring a sleep consultant.
1- Targeted Guidance
This is probably the most obvious reason, but it really is so important. Working with me gives you the ability to stop obsessing over every article, book, Facebook post, etc. You don’t have to listen to your sister, friend, husband’s second cousin once removed. Instead, you will be able to share your personal parenting style and work with me, and expert to come up with a plan that suits your family BEST. This means less stress on you to figure it all out, and the sooner we can get your whole family sleeping.
2- Personalized Support
I have found that this is typically what my client’s rave about after working together. There are plenty of programs out there where you can get the plan and set it into action on your own, but what happens when you need clarification on a part of the plan? Or something comes up that wasn’t covered? How about when you just had a tough night and all you want is to throw in the towel? THIS is why having support is so important. I am here to guide you throughout the whole process- answer questions, pivot when necessary, and be your cheerleader every step of the way to ensure your success.
3- Investment in your family’s well being
Working with me is an investment in helping your child learn healthy, independent sleep skills. This means you get to save money on all of those expensive, short term sleep props! I find this to be such a helpful comparison when considering whether or not working with a sleep consultant is “worth it”. There are so many temporary sleep props that you can buy, and while they can work temporarily, it adds up quickly and isn’t targeting the source of the issues! Instead, working with me allows you to teach your child the skill of independent sleep for years to come. In addition, you will be armed with the knowledge on how to get them back on track through future transitions and bumps in the road.
I truly love being able to help families get the sleep they all deserve, so I can give you many, many more reasons why working with a sleep consultant is beneficial, but I wanted to keep this short and sweet with just a few reasons! If you have any more questions, always feel free to reach out to me here! If this has confirmed that this is the right decision for your family, you can start working with me by picking a package here!
Love, Janet
